Cooperate with his/her fellow Crew Members, assisting them with common duties and responsibilities of the position to ensure the efficient operation of the area.Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.Communicate accurate, up to the minute NASA program information in an educational and entertaining way.Know and execute all emergency evacuation procedures at Space Center Houston and JSC.Constantly interact with the guests during the tour, maintaining a pleasant attitude and positive outlook.Responsible for the safety of guests as they enter and exit the Tram Boarding Area and all facilities on the tour.Respond to guest questions with accuracy and diplomacy.Maintain a current working knowledge of ongoing NASA programs by researching NASA training materials, books, periodicals and documents pertinent to the job.Serve as a tour guide following a strict agenda for the tour designed to provide the best experience of the facilities at JSC.Responsible for presenting an educational and informative behind-the-scenes tour of the Johnson Space Center, effective in communicating the NASA story from an insider’s point of view.The center features more than 400 space artifacts, hands-on interactive educational exhibits, and robust youth programs interpreting the exciting future and remarkable past of America’s human spaceflight program.
