He frowned, thinking about what she had said to Killua at lunch. It was sad to think about, but even though they were dating they had slowly grown apart. He doesn't know when it went wrong, but sometime around middle school Retz had changed. Gon had known Retz since elementary school, they had become friends mostly because of their parents and their joint business at the time, but much to Gon's delight, they had become long time friends going into middle school and high school together. He knew Retz didn't like his friends and he knew his friends weren't too fond of her either. Before she nodded putting her sunglasses back on and drove off with a wave and a 'See you tomorrow babe~'. He didn't know why but he had already grown pretty attached to Killua, like he had always been a part of their small group, and to his happiness Leorio and Kurapika seemed to feel the same. Neither Kurapika nor Leorio had even caught a glimpse of him since lunch. And he still hadn't been able to apologise to Killua for what she had said because as it turns out, Killua was surprisingly good at avoiding them. He was upset at Retz for saying those things to Killua. Retz pulled in beside him, her bright pink cabriolet glimmered in the afternoon sun. Gon walked out of the school building frowning.
